Tripura boy Sagar Datta Majumdar cracked the UPSC examinations.

Tripura boy Sagar Datta Majumdar cracked the UPSC examinations. He has secured the rank 317 and is likely to get into the IAS. The UPSC announced the results today.

Son of Tushar Datta Majumdar , an ONGC official and Gauri Datta Majumdar Sagar had also secured first position in TCS exams in 2024.

All along a brilliant student Sagar secured 95 percent marks in both Madhyamik an HS examinations under CBSE and then studied BSc Honours in physics under the Delhi University.

Later he joined the School of Science for competitive examinations and his first breakthrough came in 2024 itself when he became the topper in the TCS.

With the UPSC results and Sagar’s achievements being known there was sense of joy among the people and the netizens went tizzy with it.

School of Science principal and eminent educationist under whom Sagar once took academic guidance congratulated him and said as a sincere and brilliant student he would also make an efficient and committed officer. He felt that with focussed study and perseverance Tripura boys could also make difference and break boundaries–the examples of Tripura youths cracking UPSC in recent times are the indication of the new genre’s competence to join bureaucracy.
