Agartala, Nov 26: After ‘Booth Vijay Abhiyan’, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a week-long ‘Ghar Ghar BJP Abhiyan’, an outreach programme, in view of the upcoming assembly elections.

Announcing the details of the campaign the party state president Rajib Bhattacharjee on Saturday said, the week-long campaign will be held in all sixty assembly constituencies of the state from Sunday next.

During the campaign the BJP leaders along with Karyakartas would visit door-to-door along with a report card, Bhattacharjee added.

The BJP state president also said, about 7000 activists in each constituency area would gather at a specific place at 11 am on Sunday and attend the Man Ki Baat programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At 12 pm, the week-long initiative of ‘Har Ghar BJP’ campaign would begin in all the constituencies.

Bhattacharjee said, while Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha would lead the campaign in 8- Town Bordowali constituency, the other party leaders like Biplab Kumar Deb, Pratima Bhowmik, Jishnu Dev Varma, Rebati Tripura would lead the campaign at different constituencies. Besides, Tripura Pradesh election in-charge Mahendra Singh would lead from Mohanpur.

The Chief Minister, who also present in the press conference said his government is working towards maintaining transparency in every field. He also said, the law and order situation has improved in the state since 2018.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Saha said, the report card would contain constituency-wise works done by the ruling government in the past four and an half year.

Tripura Pradesh BJP in-charge Dr. Mahesh Sharma and party’s general secretary (org) for Assam and Tripura units- Phanindranath Sharma were also present in the press conference.
