Suman Bhattacharjee, a freelance artist from Tripura is one of the four artists in the country who have been shortlisted for presidential art-works in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Bhattacharjee, who did his Masters in Fine Arts from the Tripura Central University, is the first painter from the state – in fact, it is for the first time, someone from the Northeast has been chosen for creative works in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
