The trial for the RG Kar Medical College case will begin at the Sealdah Court in Kolkata today. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has already submitted the chargesheet, and it has been accepted by the court.
The prime accused in this case is Sanjay Rai, who was arrested earlier. The CBI has also arrested the former principal of the college, Sandip Ghosh, and Tala police station OC Abhijit Mondal in a money laundering and financial irregularities case at the medical college.
