 Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said transparency is now being reflected everywhere and the people are receiving its benefits.

Addressing a preparatory meeting on ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan 2.0’ at Prajna Bhavan, he said, the employees play the key role in delivering the benefits of various welfare initiatives of the government to the people. 

All the works are being implemented in a transparent manner due to concerted efforts of all concerned, he said. 

In the meeting the Chief Minister also reviewed the completion of ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign and implementation of e-Office initiative by various departments. 

He said, once the e-Office initiative is fully implemented, it would save time and government money. Besides, the initiative would also help maintain secrecy of important documents as well as ensure more transparency. 

The Chief Minister also said, the second edition of ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan’ campaign would commence soon. The drive should be aimed at delivering the benefits of government schemes to the people. 

He said, the second part of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign would also be launched in the spirit of patriotism to honour the brave hearts who laid down their lives in service to the nation. 

Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs department P.K. Chakraborty said the report on the first edition of ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan’ would be released on January 21 next, when the Statehood Day would be observed. 

He also said, the second part of ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign would be held from October 12 to October 16 next. The block level programme would be held on October 17 and the state level programme would be held at scrap garden near the secretariat October 18.

Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Principal Secretary of IT department Puneet Agarwal, Secretary Kiran Gitte, and officials of various departments were present in the meeting. 

Meanwhile, various departments were given certificates for 100 percent implementation of e-filing initiative.
