Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan, Tollywood lead actress Mimi Chakraborty starrer film Toofan is witnessing a high demand in ticket booking in Australia after sweeping the box office in Dhaka.
In historic advance sales, the Bangladeshi film has got over 2,000 tickets sold in Australia more than 10 days prior to the release, the makers claim.
This surpasses the previous record held by Raihan Rafis Poran, which saw around 800 advance tickets sold.

Directed by Raihan Rafi, Toofan is produced by Alpha-i, Chorki and SVF featuring Nabila in the co-lead and Chanchal Chowdhury in a special role.
The film tells the compelling story of a man from a small village, born a killer, who rises to power to become the biggest don.
The film was released in the Bangladeshi film circuit during Eid-ul-Adha.
