The Vayu Veer Vijeta car rally by the Indian Air Force and Uttarakhand War Memorial will arrive in Guwahati this evening. In a move to boost morale of the air warriors, the Chief of Air Staff , Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh is also driving a vehicle from Hashimara to Guwahati. The Defence PRO in Guwahati said that the Air Chief Marshal along with his team will interact with the students of the Gauhati University tomorrow.

After that, the car rally will move to Tezpur. Our Correspondent reports that the mega rally was flagged off on 8th of this month at Thoise air base at Siachen and scheduled to conclude on 29th of this month at Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. The primary objective of the rally is to motivate the youth of the country to join the armed forces.

 Chief of Air staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh is leading the Vayu Veer Vijeta car rally of 32 air force and army officers to Guwahati . Several senior and distinguished air force officers including mountaineers Col Ashwini Pawar are part of the contingent.

The car rally that consists of 14 vehicles flagged off at Siachen on 8th of this month and scheduled to conclude on 29th of this month at Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. Tomorrow the Air Chief Marshal along with his team will interact with the students of the Gauhati University.  After that, the car rally will go to Tezpur and Tawang.
