Road Transport and Highways Ministry has approved 50 National Highway projects of over one thousand kilometer length in Manipur. Out of this, 44 projects of 902 kilometer length lie in the hills of the State. The Ministry said, eight projects for 125 kilometer have been completed and balance 36 projects of 12 thousand crore rupees are in progress.
