Over 40 crore devotees have taken a holy dip so far at Triveni Sangam, Mahakumbh. Even after the three Amrit Snan on Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya and Basant Panchami in Prayagraj, the enthusiasm of devotees remains unwavering.
The Mahakumbh which began on 13th January will continue till 26th February. With 19 days remaining in the grand event, the Uttar Pradesh government is expecting that the number of bathers may exceed 50 crore.
President Droupadi Murmu is also likely to visit Prayagraj on 10th February to participate in the sacred ritual at Triveni Sangam.
