The Indian para-badminton team today returned to India with pride and medals from the Paris Paralympics 2024, showcasing the true spirit of resilience and excellence. They were welcomed at the IGI Airport in New Delhi. While shuttler Kumar Nitesh won a gold medal, Thulasimathy Murugesan and Suhas Yathiraj won silver medals, and Manisha Ramdass and Nithya Sre Sivan won bronze medals.
Later, Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya met these players and lauded their achievements. Dr. Mandaviya said that the country’s performance in the Paris Paralympics is better than in the Tokyo Paralympics and expressed confidence that the players will achieve more success in upcoming events.
