The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Government of India, in association with the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Gangtok, organised a mini Integrated Community Outreach Programme (mini-ICOP) today on VIKSIT BHARAT @2047, covering the themes of Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, Swacchta Hi Seva, and Nasamukt Bharat. The event was held at the Akashvani Quarter complex in Gangtok.
On this occasion, a painting competition, a musical chair game for ladies, and an open quiz competition were also organised, and winners were awarded by the dignitaries. Encouraging participation was seen in all the events. Two saplings, namely Podocarpus Neerifolia and Ardisia Macrocarpa, were planted inside the premises, which were provided by the Botanical Survey of India. (BSI)
