The 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival came to a close today. After 10 days of vibrant cultural and musical extravaganza, the celebrations culminated this evening with a grand closing ceremony at Naga Heritage Village Kisama.

Addressing the gathering, Minister for Tourism and Festival Host Temjen Imna Along said the festival resonated unity and zeal of the people of Nagaland and beyond.

Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Mr. Along said the Hornbill Festival has evolved beyond cultural, tribal, and festive celebrations into a platform for networking and growth.

The Festival Host also acknowledged all state machineries, partner countries and states, visitors, and other stakeholders who were instrumental in bringing the vision of the festival to splendid light.

The closing event featured a visual “Moments of Hornbill 2024”, cultural presentation and musical performances, further accenting the festival’s unique blend of traditions, music, and dance.

The silver edition of the ‘Festival of Festivals’ continued its legacy as a vibrant celebration of Nagaland’s culture, drawing lakhs of visitors from across the world over the 10-day gala.
