In a significant move aimed at expanding opportunities in technical education, the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) is gearing up to establish a partnership with Providence University in Taiwan.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, various measures are being undertaken in line with the New Education Policy 2020 to expand the provision of quality education.
As part of this, the TIT is on the verge of formalising a connection with Providence University.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has given the green light for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TIT and Providence University. Once implemented, this collaboration will offer TIT students and faculty access to various facilities at Providence University for different programmes.
This agreement is expected to enhance TIT’s prospects for NBA recognition and NIRF ranking. The state has also witnessed the initiation of academic activities at Aryabhatta University and Dhammadipa International Buddhist University, along with the establishment of the Forensic Science University, the state’s first government English medium college, and a law university.
