THREE MINISTERS TAKE OATH, SUDIP. ASISH SKIP SWEARIN IN

Ram Prasad Paul, Bhagaban Das and Sushanta Chowdhury were sworn in as cabinet ministers at the Darbar hall of Raj Bhawan in the afternoon on Tuesday.

The oath of secrecy was administered to them by Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma,Union MoS Pratima Bhowmik, other state ministers , MLAs, BJP president Dr Manik Saha, and other senior party leaders including Ajit Jamwal, Vinod Sonkar et al were present at the swearing in ceremony.

Disgruntled BJP MLAs like Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Saha or Asish Das were not seen among the MLAs.

Sources said, in all likelihood the new ministers will be given portfolio tomorrow.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb while extending his best wishes to them said “together, we shall continue to strive for fulfilling aspirations of the 37 lakh people”
