The Academys Instagram page had a surprise for Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol fans on Sunday when it posted a clip from the popular Indian onscreen couples record-breaking 1995-released movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
The clip featured Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna song from the movie which has reached an almost cult status in India and movie lovers in this nation.
The movie, which marked the directorial debut of Aditya Chopra, still runs in Mumbai theatre, almost 30 years since it hit the Indian silver screen.
Indian movie lovers often hold a special place for DDLJ, as it is named by a section of fans, for redefining romance to a generation who were born in the 90s.
