Finally, the makers have announced the release date and its September 5, which marks Ganesh Chathurthi.

The announcement was made by the films director Venkat Prabhu on his X handle.

Billed as a science fiction action entertainer, The Greatest of All Time stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva and Meenakshi Chaudhary in an ensemble cast along with Vijay, who plays dual roles.

Earlier Atlee was expected to direct the film but later Prabhu took charge of the project.

The film will have its dubbed versions released in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
