In Tennis, India’s Divij Sharan and his Israeli partner Daniel Cukierman have advanced to the Men’s Doubles quarterfinals of the HPP Open in Helsinki, Finland. Sharan and Cukierman defeated the pair of Matej Vocel of Czechia and Johannes Ingildsen of Denmark, 7-6, 7-5 in the pre-quarterfinal, last night.
The Indian-Israel duo will next take on the fourth seeded pair of Marco Bortolotti of Italy and Patrik Niklas Salminen of Finland in the quarterfinal tonight. The match is scheduled to begin at 10.20 PM, Indian Standard Time.
