Telangana Governor Felicitates miss world 2025 winners –

Telangana Governor Jishnudev Varma has highlighted the state’s emergence as a beacon of inclusive growth, cultural resurgence, and visionary governance. He hosted a ceremonial felicitation in honour of the Miss World 2025 winners at the historic Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad last evening and felicitated the Miss World 2025 Winners on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day. A special high tea was organised to celebrate the global achievements and humanitarian efforts of the pageant winners in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, a few cabinet ministers, and senior officials. A Raj Bhavan communique stated that the Governor unveiled a new eco-initiative spearheaded by Raj Bhavan. The programme encourages the production of biodegradable leaf plates by tribal communities, especially empowering women and youth, aligning sustainable practices with livelihood generation. In a symbolic gesture underscoring the message of sustainability, all food served at the event was presented on traditional leaf plates made by tribal communities from remote villages in Telangana. With active support from Raj Bhavan, tribal women and youth are being trained to produce eco-friendly leaf plates and cups-turning age-old traditions into sources of livelihood. The Governor paid glowing tributes to the inspiring journeys of the Miss World 2025 winners. Miss Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand, who became the first Thai woman to win the Miss World crown, having overcome cancer surgery at the age of 16 with extraordinary resilience. Miss Hasset Dereje Admassu of Ethiopia, who made history as First Runner-Up, embodies grace and determination amid personal adversity. Miss Maja Kladja of Poland and Miss Aureili Joachim of Martinique, who earned Second and Third Runner-Up titles respectively, were commended for their compelling representation of empowerment and diversity. The state Government had curated memorable experiences for the international delegates. They included visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancient temples, pristine natural landscapes, and culturally significant landmarks showcasing the state’s timeless legacy and vibrant diversity.
