Gorakhpur/UNI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed the administration and police officials to ensure that no land mafia encroaches on anyones land and give such elements a befitting lesson through legal means.

During Janata Darshan organised outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium of Gorakhnath Temple Complex CM Yogi also warned the officers against negligence at any level in ensuring quick and effective action on complaints related to land grabbing.

He assured the people that all their problems would be solved and that there was no need for them to worry about anything or get upset. He met 500 people during Janata Darshan, listened to their problems and assured quick, quality and satisfactory action.

Some women had reached Janata Darshan with complaints of land dispute and encroachment. The CM took details of their problems and asked the officials to take such action that no one dares to occupy anyones land illegally.

In cases of mutual land dispute, he directed officers to conduct counselling first between the aggrieved parties and then take appropriate legal action.

Yogi told the people who came with complaints related to crime and land disputes. Dont panic, strict action will be taken, he said.

On complaints related to revenue in Janata Darshan, he directed the officers to expedite the disposal of land measurement and revenue related matters in tehsils. Where necessary, the police force should also be taken along, he said.

He directed the officers towards quality solution of problems in police stations and tehsils.

To those who had come to Janata Darshan seeking financial help for the treatment of serious diseases, the CM assured them of full help.

He directed the officers to complete the process of cost estimation of treatment on priority basis and send it to the government.

The government will not let lack of funds come in the way of treatment, he said.
