Tamil Nadu topped the medal table on day four of the Khelo India Beach Games 2026 at Ghoghla Beach in Diu by winning two gold, two silver and three bronze medals through strong performances in pencak silat (a traditional martial art) and beach volleyball.
Tamil Nadu won gold in women’s beach volleyball and men’s regu pencak silat, while also securing multiple podium finishes across events. Goa claimed men’s beach volleyball gold, while Tamil Nadu prevented a podium sweep.
Hosts Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu stood second with a total of six medals, followed by Manipur and Chandigarh, securing five different medals each. Haryana women and Delhi men won sepaktakraw golds, ending Bihar’s title hopes.
In women’s beach soccer, defending champions Odisha and Gujarat advanced to the final. Over 1,100 athletes are competing across eight sports at the Games, with 32 gold medals on offer.
