Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections: BJP announces candidates for 27 seats

In poll-bound Tamil Nadu, the BJP announced candidates for the 27 seats it will be contesting in the AIADMK led NDA alliance. List includes Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan, former Governor of Telangana and Puducherry,  Dr. Tamilisai Soundarrajan and State BJP Chief Nainar Nagendran. In the last Assembly elections held in 2021, BJP contested 20 seats and won four. Congress today announced their candidates for 28 Assembly seats  in Tamil Nadu. With nominations closing on Monday, BJP and Congress will face off at four constituencies. namely Vilavancode, Colachel, Aranthangi and Ooty.
