The Indian Cricket team received a rousing water salute as their aircraft landed in Mumbai this evening. The salute was planned by the staff of Mumbai Airport to welcome the T20 Champions, which was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
Meanwhile, a sea of fans have flooded the streets of Mumbai to welcome their heroes. The excited, dancing and cheering crowd can be seen holding the Indian flag and chanting ‘India India’, ‘Mumbaicha raja Rohit Sharma’ and ‘Boom Boom Bumrah’.
The team is scheduled to hold a victory parade at Marine Drive and then take a victory lap at Wankhede Stadium and attend a special function arranged by the BCCI.
