He has not only served as the senior-most trustee but has also diligently overseen the daily operations of the Chennai unit of the organization.
Amidst an outpouring of grief over the passing of Swami Smaranananda, Swami Gautamanada swiftly journeyed from Chennai to Kolkata, assuming the responsibility of acting president.
At his late-eighties, he commands profound respect and admiration from millions of devotees, who have been moved by his impassioned speeches.
Swami Gautamanada will continue to serve as the acting president until the official announcement of the 17th president is made, maintaining the legacy of service and spiritual guidance that the institution embodies.
