Swachhata Hi Seva campaign 2025 is going to start from the 17th of this month. Addressing a curtain raiser press conference with Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil in New Delhi today, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal announced that this year the campaign will be celebrated as swachhotsav.
He said that during the campaign, large-scale cleanliness activities will be carried out across the country, including voluntary shramdaan and transformation of cleanliness targeted units.
He also mentioned that identification, transformation and beautification of cleanliness targeted units will happen on a fast track mode and beyond the campaign period for visible cleanliness on ground.
The Minister further stated that on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on 25th of this month, a nationwide shramdaan an event titled Ek Din, Ek Saath, Ek Ghanta will be organised.
Addressing the press conference, Mr.Patil said that Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 under the theme of Swachhotsav is an amalgamation of celebration with responsibility. He also urged the citizens to participate in nationwide shramdaan to demonstrate the country’s resolve for a cleaner, healthier, and greener tomorrow.
