Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury attended a BJP Panchayat-level organisational meeting at West Majlishpur, stressing stronger booth committees, grassroots expansion, and delivering Central and State welfare initiatives to every household while reaffirming commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of inclusive development and Antyodaya.
Tourism Minister and senior BJP leader Sushanta Chowdhury on Sunday underscored the importance of strengthening the party’s grassroots organisation and ensuring that government welfare initiatives reach every household while participating in a Panchayat-level organisational meeting held at West Majlishpur Gram Panchayat under his Assembly constituency.
The organisational meeting was conducted as part of the BJP Majlishpur Mandal’s ongoing “Panchayat Bhittik Baithak” (Panchayat-level Meeting) programme, an initiative aimed at making the party organisation stronger and more effective at the grassroots level. The meeting brought together elected representatives of the Gram Panchayat, booth presidents, senior party leaders and dedicated party workers to discuss organisational strategies and future plans.
Addressing the gathering, Chowdhury highlighted that a strong organisational structure remains the foundation of the party’s continued success. He stressed the need to further strengthen booth-level committees, improve coordination among party workers and expand organisational activities to every village and locality.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on enhancing grassroots-level party functioning, improving communication between booth committees and local leadership, and increasing public participation in organisational programmes. Chowdhury also exchanged views with party workers and listened to their suggestions on strengthening the BJP’s presence at the Panchayat level.
The Minister laid special emphasis on ensuring that the welfare schemes introduced by both the Central Government and the Tripura Government reach the intended beneficiaries without delay. He urged party workers to actively engage with the public and help people access various development and social welfare programmes while building stronger public trust through continuous interaction and service.
According to Chowdhury, the BJP remains committed to expanding its organisational network while maintaining close contact with people at the grassroots. He said the party’s objective is not only organisational growth but also ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society.
Reaffirming the party’s ideological commitment, Chowdhury said the BJP continues to work under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and the philosophy of Antyodaya, which focuses on the welfare and upliftment of the last person in society. He stated that public service and inclusive development remain the party’s foremost priorities.

The Panchayat-level organisational meetings are expected to continue across the Majlishpur Mandal in the coming weeks as part of the BJP’s broader strategy to reinforce its grassroots structure, improve coordination among party workers and strengthen public outreach ahead of future organisational activities.
