Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury led a Panchayat-level organisational meeting in Majlishpur to strengthen booth committees, reinforce grassroots outreach, enhance party coordination, and ensure Central and State welfare schemes reach every household under the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.

Transport and Tourism Minister and Majlishpur MLA Sushanta Chowdhury participated in a Panchayat-level organisational meeting held at Majlishpur Gram Panchayat on Thursday evening. The meeting was organised by the Majlishpur Mandal as part of an ongoing initiative aimed at reinforcing the party’s presence at the booth level and enhancing coordination among local leaders and workers.

The organisational meeting witnessed the participation of elected representatives of the Majlishpur Gram Panchayat, booth presidents, senior party leaders, office-bearers, and grassroots workers from across the constituency. The gathering served as a platform for reviewing organisational activities and discussing strategies to further strengthen the party’s network at the village level.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury stressed that strong booth committees are the backbone of any successful political organisation. He urged party workers to intensify their engagement with the public and ensure that the organisation remains active and responsive to people’s concerns at every level.

The discussions focused on strengthening booth-level structures, improving coordination among party workers, and making organisational activities more effective across the grassroots. Emphasis was also placed on expanding outreach efforts so that the benefits of various welfare initiatives introduced by both the Central and State Governments reach every eligible beneficiary without delay.

Minister Chowdhury highlighted the importance of maintaining close contact with people from all sections of society and working collectively to earn their confidence. He encouraged party workers to regularly interact with residents, understand local issues, and provide necessary assistance while effectively communicating the government’s developmental initiatives.

The meeting also featured an interactive exchange of views between the Minister and party functionaries. Booth presidents and local representatives shared their observations regarding organisational activities and discussed ways to improve public engagement. The Minister assured them that continuous organisational strengthening and teamwork would remain key priorities in the coming months.

Reiterating the ideological foundation of the party, Sushanta Chowdhury referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and the philosophy of Antyodaya, which focuses on ensuring the welfare of the last person in society. He said these principles continue to inspire the organisation’s efforts to deliver development and welfare to every household.

“The commitment of our organisation is to ensure that the benefits of government welfare programmes reach the last mile. Every booth worker has an important role in translating these ideals into reality through dedicated service and active public engagement,” the Minister said during the meeting.
