Tripura Cabinet salutes PM Modi and Indian Armed Forces for successful Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. The state honors the martyrs and stands united against terrorism under Modi’s strong leadership.
The Tripura State Council of Ministers has extended its warm congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for the resounding success of “Operation Sindoor.” The operation was launched as a direct and powerful response to the recent cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, carried out by Pakistan-supported militants, which claimed the lives of 26 Indian citizens.
The proposal to send the congratulatory message was initiated by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha during a cabinet meeting and was unanimously supported by all members. The message highlighted the bravery, commitment, and professional excellence of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary forces, especially the Border Security Force (BSF), in executing a swift and effective counter-operation.
“In protest against the barbaric terrorist attack, the Indian Armed Forces carried out ‘Operation Sindoor’, demonstrating the unmatched courage and readiness of our forces,” the message read. It further emphasized that the successful operation under the strong and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a testament to India’s strengthened defense system over the past decade.
The cabinet reiterated India’s deep-rooted commitment to peace and non-violence, but firmly stated that any attempt to destabilize the nation through terrorism would be met with a fitting and forceful reply. The cabinet assured full support to the central government’s stand on continuing operations against terrorism and extremist elements, affirming that India’s security is non-negotiable.
Earlier, a massive Tricolor Rally was organized, which saw the participation of citizens from all parts of civil society, standing united in respect and remembrance of the martyrs. A member of the rally shared, “Under the heroic leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji and the valor of our Indian Army, a befitting response was delivered. My heartfelt salute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the honor of Mother India.”
The State Cabinet also offered its deepest condolences and paid tribute to the brave soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the heinous attack. The gesture of the Tripura government reflects the collective national spirit of unity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s sovereignty.
