‘Stars in the Town’ celebrations begin with Dogri Food Festival –

Jammu is all set to dazzle with a vibrant lineup of cultural and community events under the banner Stars in the Town. The celebrations organised by the Department of Tourism, Jammu &Kashmir, will kick off today with the Dogri Food Festival at Amantran, in Satwari, showcasing the rich flavours of local cuisine. The event will feature a Dogri food village, traditional pottery, live performances, mehndi art, and even camel rides. Besides this, a Candlelight Memorial will be held today to honour martyrs of the Pahalgam attack, border shelling and the Indian Armed Forces in Katra. On June 3rd, an event will be held in Patnitop on World Bicycle Day to promote fitness and healthy living. On June 4th, Bhaderwah will host a vibrant cultural evening featuring local artists. The festivities will conclude with World Environment Day celebrations at Patnitop on June 5. The Tourism Department has invited the residents and tourists alike to come savour the Dogri cuisine flavours and enjoy the festive spirit at this unique cultural gathering.
