Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya presented Rashtrapati Award certificates to Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers in New Delhi yesterday.
Addressing the ceremony as the chief guest, Dr Mandaviya said that service to the country is a value, based on which an individual can be built for social service and patriotism.
The Minister added that the values of Indians inspire them to be part of Scouts and Guides to serve the nation and its citizens. Dr Mandaviya presented certificates to 4 hundred and 70 Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers of 2016, 2018 to 2021 from across the country.
On the occasion, President of Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) Dr. Anil Kumar Jain said that scouts and guides are not just a skill-based training program, they represent a way of life, to remind that the entire world is one family.
