Must Read

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Voter List begins across Gujarat today. The final voter list is set for publication on February 7th, 2026. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct a door-to-door enumeration from November 4th to December 4th, 2025. The provisional voter list will be published on December 9th, 2025. Citizens can file claims for corrections until January 8th, 2026. The eligibility cut-off date for the revision is January 1st, 2002.

The Commission confirmed that booth rationalisation will also take place, adhering to the target of 1200 voters per booth, to ensure family members vote at a single location. Assistance from volunteer groups like NCC will be taken to facilitate women, the elderly, and Divyang citizens.
