Speaker of Israel’s Parliament Amir Ohana Invites US President Donald Trump to Address Knesset

Speaker of Israel’ Parliament Amir Ohana invited US President Donald Trump to deliver a speech in Knesset. In his letter, Ohana said that the people of Israel regard Trump as the greatest friend and ally of the Jewish nation in modern history.
 
Ohana said that Trump’s leadership and vision not only to a deal securing the release of all Israeli hostages abducted by Hamas, but also led to an unprecedented regional agreement accepted by nearly every nation in the Middle East.
 
The invitation comes as a ceasefire agreement was announced following four days of indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel in Egypt’s Red Sea city of Sharm el-Sheikh, with mediation from Türkiye, Egypt, Qatar, and the US.
