Kailasahar police on Saturday detained at least six Rohingyas including four children from a local’s residence at Kailasahar under Ichabpur Gram Panchayat Ward No. 4.
According to the report a contingent of police led by Officer Narayan Deb conducted a raid at a residence of one Shehnaz Ali and arrested the six Rohingyas from the house and brought them to Kailashahar Police Station. 

The Rohingyas identified as 32 years old Abdul Rakhim and his 30 years old wife Johar Khatun and four children were from Myanmar and according to Abdul Rakhim they had been residing in the Rohingya camp in Chittagong, Bangladesh for five years

.Most shockingly, Abdul Rakhim also informed the police that his mother and his elder brother have been living in Delhi for eighteen years and both of them came to Kailasahar from the Rohingya camp in Chittagong, Bangladesh to reside for few years and again returned to Delhi to own Indian papers.

He said few days ago, he along with his wife and children escaped from the Rohingya camp in Chittagong, Bangladesh and entered Shillong through the Dauki border of Meghalaya and reached to Agartala by train. Abdul Rakhim further said that they were supposed to go to Delhi from Shahnaz Ali’s house after getting their Aadhaar card and other papers.
