Following the clash, local residents and family members rushed the injured to nearby healthcare facilities for medical treatment. Three of the injured persons, whose condition required advanced medical attention, were referred to Dharmanagar District Hospital. The remaining injured individuals received treatment at Kadamtala Community Health Centre.
Witnesses said tensions had been building between the families over an unresolved dispute, although the exact cause of the confrontation remains under investigation. Members of both families have reportedly accused each other of instigating the violence and have presented differing accounts of the events that led to the clash.
