Sikkim’s Chief Minister and Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party chief, Prem Singh Tamang extended his support for the ‘One Nation, One Election’ system approved by the Union Cabinet.
In a statement today, he said the simultaneous elections across the country will offer significant benefits, including streamlined electoral efforts, unified approach to governance and economic growth.
Moreover, it simplifies the electoral process for votersr, esulting in greater participation. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, describing it as “an important step to making democracy even more vibrant and participative.”
