New York/IBNS: The Indian Embassy has come out with a response after a Sikh New York State Trooper was barred from growing a beard, media reports said.
New York State Trooper Charanjot Tiwana was barred after he sought permission to grow a beard for his wedding in March last year.
Tiwanas request was turned down citing beard would pose a safety risk if he is required to wear a safety mask.
