Stree 2 has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawans collection in the Hindi version.

Shraddha-Rajkummars horror comedy has earned Rs. 586 crore surpassing Jawans collection in Hindi, Rs. 584 crore.

Stree 2, which is directed by Amar Kaushik, was released on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

A sequel to Stree (2018), it is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Apart from Shraddha and Rajkummar, the film features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
