Must Read

Severe thunderstorms hit southwest California, USA, today, bringing heavy rains, flash floods, and debris flow risks across the region. The U.S. National Weather Service issued storm warnings for Los Angeles County and nearby areas. Officials warned of possible debris flows in wildfire burn zones, including the Palisades and Malibu regions.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said an evacuation alert was in place from yesterday night until tomorrow morning for areas affected by the Palisades, Hurst, and Sunset fires.
Mayor Karen Bass said city crews were closely monitoring the situation and ready to respond to emergencies. She urged residents to stay alert, avoid flooded roads, and watch for debris flows in hillside neighbourhoods.
