Severe Heatwave Grips Rajasthan; Sri Ganganagar Sizzles at 47.4°C –

Many districts of Rajasthan are in the grip of severe heat and heat wave. Today, the maximum temperature was recorded above 45 degrees Celsius in more than seven districts. The highest temperature of 47.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sri Ganganaga.
 
 
Today, the maximum temperature in Bikaner was recorded at 46 degrees while the mercury was measured above 45 degrees Celsius in Barmer, Churu, Phalodi, Jaisalmer and Kota. Normal life has been affected by the scorching heat in various districts, including Churu, Bharatpur, Pali, Kota and Baran. There was very little movement of the people on the roads during the daytime. According to the department, the heatwave conditions will continue in some districts, including Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar, tomorrow as well.
