Sensex plunges by over 2% as West Asia situation remains volatile

Benchmark domestic equity indices trading around two and a half per cent lower in the afternoon session.
The Sensex plunged 1 thousand 808 points to 72 thousand and 725, while the Nifty shed 584 points to 22 thousand and 530, when reports last came in. On the sectoral front, Services, Metal and Realty stocks were dragging the most.
