Sensex Falls 153 Points, Nifty Down 62 as Markets Snap 4-Day Rally

Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, today ended marginally down, snapping their four-day rising streak. The Sensex fell 153 points to close at 81 thousand and 774. Nifty also dipped 62 points to settle at 25 thousand 46. 
 
 
The broader market indices at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with deeper cuts. The Mid-Cap index lost over 0.7 per cent and Small-Cap index declined over 0.4 per cent.
