Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with music, dhols, and dance. The Khan clan, including Arpita, Alvira, Aayush Sharma, and more, joined the visarjan festivities. Salman shared videos of the celebrations, offering fans a glimpse into their joyful Ganpati traditions.

Five days after welcoming Lord Ganesha into their home, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family bid farewell to “Ganpati Bappa” with grandeur, devotion, and vibrant celebrations on Sunday. The farewell procession, held at the Khan residence, was filled with music, dance, and joy, reflecting the family’s deep-rooted tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a spirited manner.

In a heartwarming video shared on Salman Khan’s official Instagram handle with the caption “Ganpati Bappa Morya”, fans got a glimpse of the festive visarjan. The video showed his sisters, Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, carrying a smaller idol of Lord Ganesha, while Aayush Sharma, Alvira’s husband Atul Agnihotri, and other family members escorted the larger idol during the procession. The family walked together, dancing to the rhythmic beats of the dhol as they prepared for the immersion ceremony.

Salman Khan himself was seen immersed in the celebrations, donning a casual T-shirt and jeans while dancing with boundless energy to the sound of traditional dhols. In one adorable moment captured in the video, Salman was spotted carrying his niece while grooving joyfully, a gesture that melted the hearts of his fans.

The Khan family’s visarjan celebration was not just about farewell but also about togetherness and festivity. Earlier in the week, Salman had shared another video on his Instagram, showcasing the Ganpati aarti rituals at their home. The video featured the entire Khan clan, including his father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, sisters Alvira and Arpita, brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, and nephew Ayaan Agnihotri. Salman’s niece, Alizeh Agnihotri, who recently made her Bollywood debut, was also seen joining the family rituals.

Adding more charm to the celebration, actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, along with their children, also joined the Khan family during the Ganpati festivities. Everyone gathered together, dressed in a mix of ethnic and casual attire, as they performed aarti in front of the beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha. While many of the family members opted for traditional Indian outfits, Salman, Arbaaz, and Salim Khan kept it simple in western clothing.

The Khan family’s Ganpati celebrations have always been a blend of grandeur and intimacy. For years, they have welcomed Lord Ganesha into their home, inviting friends and extended family to join in the festivities. This year was no different, with the celebrations marked by warmth, dance, devotion, and the powerful chant of “Ganpati Bappa Morya”.

On the professional front, Salman Khan has recently returned as the host of India’s most popular reality show, Bigg Boss, now in its 19th season. Known for his charisma and unique hosting style, Salman continues to be the face of the show. However, this year’s season has not yet managed to replicate the massive buzz and high viewership numbers that earlier editions enjoyed.

The contestant list for Bigg Boss 19 includes names from diverse backgrounds, such as television actor Gaurav Khanna, music composer Amaal Mallik, influencer Awez Darbar, actress Ashnoor Kaur, content creator Mridul Tiwari, digital star Nagma Mirajkar, veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand, reality star Baseer Ali, actor Abhishek Bajaj, model Tanya Mittal, filmmaker Zeishan Quadri, former beauty queen Nehal Chudasama, international actress Natalia Janoszek, actor Pranit More, influencer Farhana Bhatt, and Bhojpuri actress Neelam Giri.

Despite the slow start for Bigg Boss 19, Salman remains optimistic, and his fans continue to shower him with love—both for his professional ventures and his personal life. The recent Ganpati visarjan video is yet another reminder of how the superstar cherishes his family traditions and balances his larger-than-life stardom with his personal devotion.

As the Khan family bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with dance, music, and joy, fans across the country joined them virtually, celebrating the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya” (O Lord Ganesha, come again soon next year).
