Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow’s action plan for long-term cooperation with India till 2030 should be finalised shortly. Speaking at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum’s plenary session yesterday, the Russian President announced that Moscow is advancing long-term economic cooperation plans with its key partners, including India. He also denied that China and Russia are forming a new multi-polar world order.
The theme for St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025 was “Shared Values: The Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World.” Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw represented India at SPIEF 2025. Mr Vaishnaw delivered keynote addresses at two significant sessions and highlighted India’s advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its vision for ethical and inclusive technological growth.
