Rupee Strengthens by 73 Paise to Close at 88.06 Against US Dollar

In the Forex market, the rupee today appreciated by 73 paise to close at 88 rupees and six paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 98.84 in intra-day trade.
