Rupee Gains 2 Paise, Closes at 88.67 Against US Dollar

In the Forex market, the rupee today appreciated by two paise to close at 88 rupees and 67 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.07 in intra-day trade.
