Rupee Gains 10 Paise, Closes at 88.69 Against US Dollar

In the Forex market, the rupee today appreciated by ten paise to close at 88 rupees and 69 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 97.72 in intra-day trade.
