Rupee Falls 44 Paise to 88.75 Against US Dollar

In the Forex market, the rupee today depreciated by 44 paise to close at 88 rupees and 75 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 97.32 in intra-day trade.
