Rupee Falls 12 Paise to 87.66 Against US Dollar

In the foreign exchange market, the rupee today depreciated by 12 paise to settle at 87 rupees and 66 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 98.67 in intra-day trade.
