Rupee depreciates by 7 paise to close at Rs 85.58 –

 In the Forex market, the rupee today depreciated by seven paise to close at 85 rupees and 58 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at around 99.53 in intra-day trade.
