Rupee depreciates by 19 paise to settle at 93.12 against US dollar

In the forex market today, the rupee depreciated by 19 paise to settle at 93 rupees and 12 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 98.19 in intra-day trade.
