Rupee Closes Flat at 88.78 Against U.S. Dollar

In the Forex market, the rupee today closed flat at 88 rupees and 78 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 98.37 in intra-day trade.
